Rosie is a Knowledge Lawyer for the Tax and Reward teams.
Rosie joined Macfarlanes in 2018 as a Paralegal, completing her training at the firm in 2022 before qualifying into the Tax team advising clients on a wide range of matters, with a particular focus on international group tax planning, group reorganisations, and private capital tax.
She is involved in supporting fee earners across each of the group's practice areas. Her role involves keeping the team updated on legal developments, providing internal counsel support to fee earners, helping to manage the training programme, and developing and maintaining the team’s know-how resources. She also works closely with the firm’s Lawtech team to identify opportunities for innovation and technological development in the Tax and Reward teams and to implement projects intended to support fee earners in their practice.
Whilst an Associate in the Tax team, Rosie undertook a secondment at one of the firm’s key private capital clients advising on the establishment and structuring of investment funds, house tax matters, and investment transactions.
