Caja specialises in UK and European competition law, advising on complex transactions, behavioural investigations and private enforcement actions.
Caja advises clients across a broad range of industries on UK and EU competition law, with experience spanning merger control, regulatory investigations and competition litigation. She regularly supports businesses on complex transactions, guiding them through substantive competition issues and global investment screening regimes. Caja previously spent time on secondment to the Mergers unit of the UK Competition & Markets Authority.
In addition to her transactional work, Caja represents clients in contentious competition matters, including investigations into alleged anti-competitive agreements and abuses of dominance. She also has extensive experience advising on private damages actions arising from alleged antitrust infringements.
Caja provides day-to-day compliance advice on matters such as cooperation agreements, distribution arrangements and pricing issues, helping businesses to manage risk while meeting their commercial objectives. Alongside her client work, she is actively involved in the firm’s cross-departmental mentoring initiatives.

- Advising a UK housebuilder in connection with the CMA's investigation into the suspected exchange of competitively sensitive information.
- Advising ZF Friedrichshafen on its defence against a claim concerning alleged anti-competitive conduct in relation to occupant safety systems.
- Advising a client in connection with an investigation by Ofcom into alleged breaches of Chapter 1 of the Competition Act 1998.
- Advising Epiris on the sale of TI Media to Future plc, securing conditional Phase 1 clearance from the CMA.
- Advising Amcor on its merger with Bemis, securing conditional Phase 1 clearance from the European Commission.
- Advising Prysmian in relation to damages claims brought before the UK courts in connection with the European Commission’s Power Cables decision.
