About
Rhiannon supports clients on a broad range of tax policy matters, advising on the implications for businesses and individuals from initial proposals through to enacted legislation.
Rhiannon’s work is largely driven by government priorities and spans taxes affecting asset managers and large privately-owned businesses. She responds to consultations, engages with government and other stakeholders, and keeps clients up to date with developments. Alongside this reactive work, she contributes to the development of tax policy, including the introduction of the Qualifying Asset Holding Company regime and the direction of the new carried interest rules.
She began her career in practice, advising large corporates on their tax affairs, before moving into tax policy at a leading UK trade association.
Rhiannon is a Chartered Tax Adviser; founding member and former Chair of the Women in Tax network; and a committee member of the UK branch of the International Fiscal Association (IFA). Rhiannon has written for a number of publications and regularly speaks at external events.
