Kayleigh Leonie Senior Associate

Kayleigh specialises in employment law and advises clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious matters.

Kayleigh advises clients in a variety of sectors including private equity houses, major corporates and other partnerships structures. Her work includes assisting clients with day-to-day HR queries, dealing with business-wide projects such as restructuring, redundancies and TUPE transfers and advising on contractual issues such as bonus arrangements and restrictive covenants. She also regularly advises on Employment Tribunal disputes, litigation tactics and settlement negotiations.

Kayleigh sits on The Law Society’s specialist Employment Law Committee which keeps under review, and promotes improvements in, employment law and practice.

Kayleigh also sits on the steering group of our DAWN staff network, a forum that focuses on the mental health and wellbeing of all of those at Macfarlanes and also offers support to staff who have direct experience of or support others with disabilities, neurodiverse conditions and other long and short term conditions.

Qualified in England and Wales, 2012.
