Philip acts on a wide range of complex construction, engineering and infrastructure disputes. He has experience of resolving these disputes through litigation, arbitration, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution (including mediation).
Philip's expertise is in complex construction, engineering, infrastructure and PFI claims, and related professional negligence issues.
Philip has represented a wide range of clients, including public bodies and institutions, state-owned companies, developers, project companies, employers, joint ventures, contractors, sub-contractors and consultants. His experience includes infrastructure, manufacturing, rail, transport, commercial property, office, oil and gas, alternative energy, nuclear, retail, waste disposal/recycling, scientific research, higher education, healthcare, water, hotel/hospitality and high-end residential projects.
He regularly advises clients in relation litigation, arbitration, adjudication and alternative dispute resolution procedures, including mediation and expert determination.
Philip has spent time on secondment with a multinational chemical corporation, and a private utility company responsible for public water supply and waste water treatment.
