Hayley specialises in employment law and advises on the full range of employment matters, both contentious and non-contentious. As well as advising corporate employers, Hayley is experienced in advising LLPs and other partnership structures on partnership and quasi employment issues as they affect them and their members or partners.
Hayley advises on the full spectrum of employment issues. Her contentious work ranges from advising on sensitive or acrimonious disciplinary or grievance procedures to restrictive covenant and other post termination disputes to litigation in the Employment Tribunal. She advises employers on their day-to-day employment issues, helping them to resolve difficult workplace situations in a commercially sensitive way. Hayley is experienced in advising on the employment aspects of all types of corporate transactions, restructurings and reorganisations, including large scale redundancies and TUPE transfers.
The majority of Hayley’s practice is focussed on advising on employer clients across a range of businesses including media and advertising, the hotels industry and, frequently, in the financial services sector. Hayley is well versed in the particular issues facing that sector, from contractually complex remuneration arrangements to the difficulty of navigating delicate employment issues against the backdrop of a regulatory framework. Though a smaller part of her practice, Hayley is also experienced in advising executive clients and high-net-worth individuals on their personal employment and partnership arrangements.
