Krishant advises on a broad range of tax and structuring matters with a particular focus on public and private M&A transactions and related reorganisations.

He has extensive experience advising companies, partnerships, and individuals on domestic and cross-border M&A transactions. Alongside his M&A work, Krishant advises on corporate reorganisations and restructurings.

Prior to joining Macfarlanes, Krishant worked in the Transaction Tax team at a Big Four accounting firm and in the Tax team at a leading global law firm where he advised on a range of domestic and cross-border M&A, tax structuring, tax due diligence, and tax dispute matters.

Experience

  • Advising leading UK food and renewable-energy producer Staples Vegetables (Staples) on its strategic partnership with global agribusiness investment firm, Solum Partners.
  • Advising Realstar on the indirect corporate acquisition and simultaneous financing of One Exchange Square, a 603-unit build-to-rent property in Birmingham.
  • Advising leading Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) Lebara on its strategic partnership with Waterland Private Equity.
  • Advising private equity firm Epiris on the acquisition of Amber Taverns by one of its advised funds, Epiris Fund III.
