Helen advises on the full spectrum of residential property matters in prime central London and in prime country markets for private and corporate clients.

Helen acts on high-value, complex residential sales, purchases and financings, with particular experience in heritage assets and properties with development potential. She has extensive experience advising both developers and residents in new-build prime and super-prime developments.

She regularly handles statutory and negotiated lease extensions, collective enfranchisement and freehold acquisitions for both landlords and tenants, often alongside a sale or purchase. Her recent work includes matters on the Crown, Grosvenor, Phillimore and Wellcome Trust estates.

Clients value Helen’s pragmatic advice and her hands on approach, which ensures matters are progressed swiftly. 

Her clients include private individuals and family offices based in the UK and internationally, property developers, investors and lenders.

  • Advising an international private client on the purchase of a London residence, on an expedited basis in light of the seller’s ill health.
  • Advising an international private client across the full life cycle of a development, from initial acquisition and a successful freehold enfranchisement claim, to repeated development financings and obtaining consents for the comprehensive refurbishment.
  • Advising super-prime property developers on the sale of apartments in prime and super-prime developments, with individual unit values of up to £40m.
  • Advising a UK-based company on the reorganisation of a £30m investment portfolio for strategic reasons ahead of a potential disposal.
  • Advising an international trust on the reorganisation of a £13m investment portfolio, and advised on letting the properties.
  • Advising an international private client on a high-value short-term let of a super prime London property.
  • Advising international private clients on the property aspects of an SPV acquisition for £19m and subsequent transfer of the property asset.
  • Advising a UK entrepreneur on the purchase of a country residence for £8m, securing overage provisions over surrounding paddocks.
