Macfarlanes advises as GHO Capital Fund I LP Closes

Macfarlanes has advised GHO Capital on the fundraising of its first healthcare private equity fund which has closed with commitments of €660m.

GHO Capital is a European specialist investor in healthcare, founded in 2014. The Fund has been designed to target the highly attractive investment opportunity in European healthcare. It was significantly oversubscribed, exceeding its target of €500m through strong support from a global investor base including leading pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, asset managers, insurance companies, fund of funds, family offices and high net worth individuals.

The Macfarlanes fundraising team was led by investment management partner Alex Amos, with investment management senior counsel Samuel Brooks and solicitor Alexandra Cochrane, banking and finance partner Richard Fletcher and tax partner Damien Crossley with tax solicitor Alicia Thomas.
