Business services

Business services staff play a vital role in supporting the firm and the work that we do for our clients.

We recruit outstanding people who keep our firm moving and add different perspectives to our core business activities. We currently have over 200 business services staff across a number of areas: administration; finance; human resources; information technology; knowledge, innovation and legal technology; marketing and business development; risk and compliance and secretarial.

The firm has invested in a business services development programme and has recently implemented a new mentoring scheme for business services staff, secretaries and legal assistants to enable junior business services team members to access guidance from more experienced colleagues.

Business Services Academy

The Business Services Academy is a talent development programme for high potential and high performing business services employees and PAs, which allows participants to develop their potential in a different area of the business from the one in which they are currently employed. This might be by spending time in a different business services function or by gaining experience in a paralegal or legal assistant role. The Business Services Academy programme runs throughout the year and includes mentoring and career coaching, as well as training if appropriate.
