Macfarlanes advises Magnesita Refractários S.A. on a receivables purchase programme
Macfarlanes has advised publically-listed Brazilian refractory company Magnesita Refractários S.A. on a $54.3m receivables purchase programme established by Banco Santander, S.A. in respect of Magnesita’s trade receivables arising from its refractory solutions businesses.
The Macfarlanes team has been involved in the transaction from the start and assisted Magnesita with the development of the term sheet and the structure of the deal. The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by finance partner Richard Fletcher with assistance from finance solicitor Chris Barrett.
