Macfarlanes advises Epiris on acquisition of Time Inc UK from Meredith Corporation

Time Inc UK is one of the country’s largest publishers, responsible for over 50 diverse media titles including Wallpaper, Country Life, Horse & Hound and Decanter. Its US parent company was acquired by Meredith Corporation last year and the new owner has been clear about its plans to divest from Time Inc’s UK business.   

The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Stephen Drewitt alongside finance partner Kirstie Hutchinson who advised on debt financing. This deal involved a large team from across the firm including corporate and M&A partner Richard Burrows, real estate partner Tom Pedder, derivatives and trading partner William Sykes, tax partner Peter Abbott and commercial partner Malcolm Walton.
