Macfarlanes advises Integrity International Group on the acquisition of 55 Broadway

Macfarlanes has advised Integrity International Group on the acquisition of the iconic, Grade I-listed 55 Broadway from Transport for London (TfL) for a consideration in excess of £120m.

Integrity International Group now holds a 150-year lease on the office and retail complex, which is located above St James’s Park Underground Station, and also includes 100 Petty France and Wing Over Station.

55 Broadway was the tallest commercial office in London on its completion in 1929, when it became the new headquarters for the Underground Electric Railways Company of London, a forerunner of London Underground.

The Macfarlanes team for the acquisition was led by real estate partner Dominic Cunliffe, working with partner Anthony Burnett-Scott, senior counsel Margaret Rhodes, solicitor Sindhuja Shriananda and senior tax solicitor Sarah Shucksmith.

Dominic Cunliffe comments: "We are delighted to have supported Integrity International Group on the acquisition of this truly outstanding property, which is a unique part of London’s heritage."
