Macfarlanes advises Hollyport Capital on closing of $1bn secondary opportunities fund

Macfarlanes has advised long-standing client Hollyport Capital, on the raising of its seventh secondaries fund which has closed at its hard cap of $1bn.

Macfarlanes previously advised Hollyport Capital on the raising of its sixth secondaries fund, which closed in October 2017 at $500m.

The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by investment management partner Christopher Good with assistance from investment management senior solicitors Harriet Miller and Edward Prestwich. Tax and structuring advice was provided by partner James McCredie.

Christopher Good comments: “We are delighted to have assisted Hollyport in reaching its hard cap on the latest fundraise, and help Hollyport’s organic and rapid growth over successive fundraisings.”
