Macfarlanes advises Seven Investment Management on acquisition of Partners Wealth Management

Macfarlanes has advised Seven Investment Management, the wealth management firm backed by Caledonia Private Capital, on its acquisition of financial planning boutique Partners Wealth Management, a transaction which increases the firm’s assets under management by £2bn to approximately £17bn in total.

The acquisition will see Partners Wealth Management retain its brand, identity and leadership, and helps both businesses take the next steps in their respective strategic growth plans.

The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Stephen Drewitt with assistance from senior solicitor Mike Birkett and solicitor Laura Hatfield. Banking advice was provided by finance partner Kirstie Hutchinson and senior solicitor George Silber.

Stephen Drewitt comments: “We are delighted to have acted for 7IM again on another important acquisition in support of its strategy of inorganic growth.”
