Macfarlanes advises LycaHealth on £140m investment as it takes on UK health market

Macfarlanes has advised healthcare company LycaHealth on its £140m investment, primarily to be invested in the South East of England over the next five years, where the company will add the KIMS Hospital and its associated Medical Centre in Sevenoaks to its medical centres currently operating in London.

KIMS Hospital is the largest independent hospital in Kent and will add to LycaHealth’s ambition to deliver high quality, accessible health services to local communities around the UK. The hospital will incorporate the expertise of its medical staff with advanced technologies for fast access to diagnostics and treatments.

The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner Howard Corney and tax partner Gregory Price.
