Macfarlanes advises management team of Wind Hellas on sale to United Group
Macfarlanes has advised the management team of Greek telecoms operator Wind Hellas, in connection with its sale to telecommunications services and media provider, United Group.
Wind Hellas, one of Greece’s three mobile operators, has a total of 4.2m users offering mobile, fixed, internet and TV services, generating revenues of over €500m annually.
The transaction is subject to customary regulatory approvals and is expected to be completed in 2022.
The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Jessica Adam alongside solicitor Jonathan Höck with assistance from senior solicitor Daniel Hobbs.
