Macfarlanes advises Market Access Transformation on tax aspects of sale to Genesis Research
18 May 2022Macfarlanes has advised leading provider of technology-enabled payer research platforms, Market Access Transformation on the tax aspects of its sale to Genesis Research, a leading provider of tech-enabled real-world evidence and health economics and outcomes research and a portfolio company of European specialist investor, GHO Capital Partners.
The merger will further enhance Genesis Research’s offering to life sciences companies for conducting payer research and evaluating the market access viability of their products.
Macfarlanes advised on the structuring aspects of the deal from a UK tax perspective.
The Macfarlanes team was led by tax partner Gregory Price alongside associate Joe Robinson.
