Macfarlanes advises The Royal Bank of Scotland International on a £300m revolving credit facility to Digital 9 Infrastructure plc

Macfarlanes has advised RBSI as mandated lead arranger, structuring bank, coordinator and sole bookrunner – together with a syndicate of lenders – on the provision of a £300m revolving credit facility to Digital 9 Infrastructure plc, a technology infrastructure company which aims to improve global connectivity in a greener and more sustainable manner in the UK and abroad.

The revolving credit facility will help to finance future investments in the company’s pipeline and has a further uncommitted accordion provision allowing Digital 9 Infrastructure plc to request an increase of up to an additional £200m.

The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by finance partner Andrew Perkins alongside senior solicitor Christopher Orford.

Andrew Perkins comments: “We are delighted to have supported our long-standing client RBSI and a syndicate of lenders on this innovative and market-leading financing which will help Digital 9 Infrastructure plc meet its growth strategies in the coming years. We look forward to helping RBSI and the Digital 9 Infrastructure plc team to achieve their goals in the ever-growing digital infrastructure sector.”
