Macfarlanes announces new tax partner hire

Macfarlanes is pleased to announce that Sophie Donnithorne-Tait will be joining the firm later in the summer as a partner in its tax team.

Sophie advises on all aspects of UK corporate tax and has particular expertise in advising investment fund clients on the tax issues relating to the establishment of fund structures and asset management businesses, as well as on the tax implications of financial restructurings.

Sophie will join the firm from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld where she has been a partner for the past five years.
