ARA Europe, alongside German real estate manager Patrizia, collaborated with German bank Deutsche Hypo as senior lender, to provide UK construction firm Kier Group with £39.5m of debt to facilitate a 130,000 square foot green office refurbishment in central Birmingham, UK.

This collaboration between ARA Europe and Patrizia represents one of two recent deals completed between the pair.

The Macfarlanes team for the loan was led by finance partner Colin Morgan with assistance from finance senior associate Christine Dowdall-Platt and for the Patrizia collaboration more generally, private funds partner Harriet Miller with assistance from private funds associate Jack Engelberg.
