The BTC is an initiative led by Laura Durrant (managing partner of culture and diversity consultancy Equitura LLP) and Harry Matovu KC (Brick Court Chambers). The aim of the Charter is to work collaboratively with organisations across the financial and professional sectors to accelerate the career progression of Black professionals.

Through the BTC, Macfarlanes will have access to a range of events and resources, some specifically targeted at Black talent within BTC signatories, some aimed at a wider audience.

I hope we can work together with other organisations not only to support our own Black talent, but also talented Black professionals across many sectors.”
