Macfarlanes advises Legal & General on £900m buy-in with the ICI Pension Fund
22 May 2024Macfarlanes has advised long-standing client Legal & General on a £900m buy-in with the ICI Pension Fund, securing the benefits of over 7,000 retirees.
This marks the 12th transaction since the ICI Pension Fund entered into an umbrella agreement with Legal & General in 2014.
The Macfarlanes team was led by insurance partner Andrew Barton alongside senior counsel Madison Isted and senior associate Emma Waters. Transactional advice was provided by partners Adam Caines and Will Sykes.
