Macfarlanes has advised Expedition Growth Capital (Expedition), the leading software-specialist growth equity firm, on the successful first and final close of Expedition Growth Capital III at its $375m hard cap. 

The fundraise was completed four months after launch, reflecting strong support from new and existing limited partners for Expedition across Europe and the US. Fund III also saw a measured increase from Expedition’s €250m Fund II in 2022. 

The Macfarlanes team was led by Private Funds Partner Harriet Miller. Tax advice was led by Tax Partner Sophie Donnithorne-Tait.
