Macfarlanes advises "one and done" closing of fund, GCP Fund VI, at £411m for Growth Capital Partners

Macfarlanes has assisted on “first and final” closing of fund, GCP Fund VI, at its hard cap for long standing client Growth Capital Partners.

The fund, GCP Fund VI, will invest in growth companies in the knowledge economy. 

Macfarlanes has acted on all previous Growth Capital Partners funds including GCP Fund V which closed in March 2022 at £260m, exceeding its target of £250m.

The Macfarlanes team was led by Private Funds Partner Harriet Miller with assistance from Associates Caroline Chu and Amelia Le Coyte. Tax advice was provided by Partner James McCredie and Senior Associate Eugene Atkinson. ESG advice was provided by Senior Associate Tiffany Cox and Associate Emily Batchelor.

GCP was advised by fundraising advisory firm, Rede Partners LLP.
