Louis is based in the Brussels and London offices and specialises in cases with EU or international dimensions across several industries, such as automotive, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, retail, manufacturing, computer hardware, technology, and telecommunications. He has assisted clients in proceedings with national competition authorities and the European Commission.

He provides clear and pragmatic advice on all aspects of a company’s activities that may fall within the scope of EU competition law. This includes providing counsel to companies entering into an agreement that sets a standard or promote sustainability objectives, as well as pricing issues (including rebate schemes) or distribution models.

Moreover, Louis designs comprehensive competition law compliance programs, as well as compliance trainings. He translates the most recent developments in EU competition law into practical advice, communicating the impact on day-to-day business operations.

He also advises clients on EU and national foreign direct investment regimes, as well as general EU law.
