Balint advises clients on EU and UK contentious and non-contentious competition law matters.

This includes advising on competition litigation (with particular interest in novel collective proceedings), cartel and abuse of dominance investigations, merger control, and competition compliance.

Balint worked as a Blue Book trainee at the European Commission. During his time at the Commission, he worked on EU merger control matters, including the Phase II investigation of the seminal Dow/DuPont merger.

Advising a train operating company in relation to the first collective standalone claim in the UK before the Competition Appeal Tribunal concerning alleged abuse of dominance. (Experience gained at another firm).
