Jim has experience across a wide range of real estate work with a particular focus on development projects and investment transactions.

Jim acts for a range of property clients including landowners and developers in relation to commercial and residential development projects, pension funds, corporate occupiers and investment clients on acquisitions, disposals and commercial letting transactions (acting for both landlords and tenants). He also advises on joint ventures and corporate real estate matters.

Advising a US-based investment fund on the acquisition, financing and refurbishment of two Central London office buildings and pre-lets to a co-working occupier.

Stanhope

Advising Stanhope on the formation of a joint venture and subsequent acquisition by the joint venture of a development site in London for residential-led development.

Nuffield Trust

Advising Nuffield Trust on the structuring and set up of a joint venture with a developer for a residential-led scheme in Cambridgeshire.

Muse Developments

Advising Muse Developments on all aspects of a mixed-use town centre regeneration scheme, including the development agreement with the Council, land acquisition and structuring and delivery of the development.
