Charlie advises on a broad range of UK and cross-border tax matters including in relation to investment fund structuring, M&A and debt finance transactions, and group tax planning.

In particular, Charlie focuses on the establishment and structuring of private investment funds, and advising corporates and investment fund managers on the tax aspects of corporate transactions.

Charlie sits on the steering group of our DAWN staff network, a forum that focuses on the mental health and wellbeing of all of those at Macfarlanes and also offers support to staff who have direct experience of or support others with disabilities, neurodiverse conditions and other long and short term conditions.
