Macfarlanes advises Derwent London on £103m sale of The Buckley Building
08 August 2019Macfarlanes has advised UK REIT Derwent London plc on the £103m sale of The Buckley Building in Clerkenwell to clients of CBRE Global Investors.
Derwent acquired the office building in 2007 prior to completely refurbishing and extending it to 85,100 sq ft of useable space in 2013. The building is fully let to a number of occupiers including Unilever, Deloitte Digital and Hill + Knowlton.
The Macfarlanes team was led by real estate partner Steven Pitchford with assistance from senior solicitor Rachael Ashton (real estate) and solicitor Catherine Hill (tax).
