Macfarlanes advises Hanson Wade on acquisition by Graphite Capital
Macfarlanes has advised Hanson Wade, a market leading conference organiser and provider of information services, on its acquisition by private equity firm Graphite Capital.
Hanson Wade was founded by Sarah McCaldin in 2008 and focuses primarily on the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. Sarah and her family have reinvested in the company and will continue to hold a minority stake following completion.
The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner Jessica Adam with assistance from solicitors Mark Stephens, Alice Temkin, Alex Critchley and Olivia MacLellan. Tax expertise was provided by tax and reward partner Jeremy Moncrieff and solicitor Florence Barnes.
