Jeremy advises on the tax aspects of corporate transactions with a focus on public and private M&A, IPOs, corporate reorganisations and private equity transactions.
Jeremy has extensive experience advising companies, partnerships and individuals on the tax aspects of M&A transactions. His corporate clients include public and private companies and private equity houses; the transactions often have a cross-border element.
Alongside his M&A work, Jeremy advises on equity issuances (including IPOs), returns of capital, restructurings and corporate reorganisations. He also advises corporate groups (including REITs) on their corporate tax planning.
Jeremy is a member of the international tax sub-committee of the Law Society of England & Wales and contributes to consultations with HM Revenue & Customs and HM Treasury on developments in tax legislation.
