Macfarlanes advises Wellspring Capital on merger of Airswift and Competentia

Macfarlanes has advised US private equity house Wellspring Capital on the merger of its portfolio company Airswift, a global workforce solutions provider with Competentia, a global recruiting and workforce management specialist.

The merged entity will retain the Airswift name and come together as a workforce solutions provider for the energy, process, infrastructure, mining and technology industries.

The firm previously advised Wellspring on the acquisition of Swift Worldwide Resources and its subsequent merger with Air Energi in 2016.

The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner Stephen Pike alongside senior consultant William David and solicitor Andrew Wheelhouse.

Stephen Pike comments: “We are delighted to have advised Wellspring on yet another pivotal transaction for Airswift”.
