Macfarlanes advises Volpi Capital on the closing of Volpi Capital Investments Conti LP

Macfarlanes has advised Volpi Capital LLP, a specialist European lower mid-market private equity firm, on the establishment and close of Volpi Capital Investments Conti LP.

The new continuation vehicle has acquired the remaining interests held by Volpi Capital Investments L.P. (Fund I) in Cyclomedia (a leading international provider of intelligent street-level geospatial data and information solutions) and Digital Barriers (a leading provider of edge-intelligent software solutions and cloud services for the global surveillance and security markets).

This transaction represents a major milestone for Volpi, allowing for the full realisation of Fund I. Schroders Capital acted as lead investor into Volpi Capital Investments Conti LP, and the fundraising also attracted strong support from existing investors alongside several new institutional investors and the Volpi team.

The Macfarlanes team included investment management partner Christopher Good, tax and structuring partner James McCredie and corporate and M&A partner Alex Green, with associate team members including Miriam Cable, Pranav Subhedar and Daniel Hobbs.
