Macfarlanes advises management team of Merian Global Investors on £390m acquisition by Jupiter Fund Management
Macfarlanes has advised the key management team at Merian Global Investors, a UK asset manager, on its £390m acquisition by Jupiter Fund Management. The deal will create the second-largest retail fund manager in the UK with combined assets under management of £65bn.
The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Luke Powell with assistance from senior solicitor Chris Daniel and solicitor Eloise Bradley. Tax advice was provided by partners Rob Collard and Peter Abbott, with employment expertise coming from partner Hayley Robinson.
