Macfarlanes advises restructuring team of Deloitte on sale to Teneo

Macfarlanes has advised the restructuring team of multinational professional services network Deloitte on its sale to Teneo, a global CEO advisory business backed by private equity house CVC Capital Partners.

The restructuring team moving to Teneo represents one of the most comprehensive offerings of any distressed restructuring business in the UK and Europe and comprises more than 250 people and 27 partners. Daniel Butters, Head of Deloitte’s UK restructuring services business will become head of restructuring for Teneo.

The Macfarlanes team for this matter was led by corporate and M&A partner Stephen Drewitt and senior solicitor Nicholas Page. Employment advice came from partner Hayley Robinson and senior solicitor Tabitha Al-Mahdawie
