Macfarlanes advises Alchemy on acquisition of Raymond Blanc’s Brasserie Bar Co
Macfarlanes has advised Alchemy, a long-standing private equity client, on its acquisition of Brasserie Bar Co, which owns the Brasserie Blanc and White Brasserie Co brands founded by chef Raymond Blanc.
The group currently has 14 brasseries and 18 pubs with a total of 1,300 employees.
The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner Alex Green with assistance from senior solicitor Tom French and solicitors Bryony Foley and Luis Soares de Sousa. Finance advice was provided by partner Jat Bains and senior solicitor Amy Walker, with tax expertise coming from partner James McCredie, senior solicitor Shaul Steinberg and solicitor Rebecca Rose.
