Macfarlanes advises Partners Group and Duke Street on sale of Voyage Care

Macfarlanes has advised Partners Group, a leading global private markets firm and Duke Street, a leading European mid-market private equity group on the sale of Voyage Care, a provider of specialist care in the UK, to Wren House, the London-based global infrastructure investment manager.

Voyage Care provides specialist care and support to people with learning and physical difficulties, brain injuries, autism, and other complex needs across the UK. The Macfarlanes team was led by corporate and M&A partner Stephen Drewitt with assistance from senior solicitor Nicholas Page, solicitors Emma Bailey and Brodie Thomson, and trainee solicitor Riley Forson.

The deal involved support from a variety of teams across the firm. Tax expertise was provided by senior counsel Sarah Shucksmith and employment advice came from partner Hayley Robinson and solicitor Constance Shaw. Commercial advice came from partner Malcolm Walton and solicitors Rob Grant and Mark Cusack, pensions advice came from Sheamal Samarasekera, and finance advice was provided by solicitor Duaa Abbas.
