Macfarlanes advises Investec on £839m combination of Investec W&I UK with Rathbones

Macfarlanes has advised Investec, a distinctive bank and wealth manager, on an all-share combination of Investec Wealth & Investment Limited and Rathbones Group plc to create the UK’s leading discretionary wealth manager with approximately £100 billion in funds under management and administration. The terms of the Combination implies an equity value of approximately £839 million for Investec W&I UK.
